LIB LAB, short for Library Laboratory, is a fun, educational video series produced by the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library. Each episode will explore a variety of scientific fundamentals with playful experiments and demonstrations. The videos will live online, enabling audiences from around the world to participate int he experiments.
Each video will also include directions for a related experiment that young viewers can conduct at home. For local residents, the Corvallis Benton County Public Library will provide materials for the experiment, available at the Corvallis branch Youth reference desk while supplies last.
LIB LAB is produced by a team of Emmy award-winning filmmakers who have a combined 30 years experience in video production. Their work has been seen by millions of people around the world, but they are proud to call Corvallis home.
In order to make LIB LAB a reality, we are seeking grants, sponsorship from local organizations, and direct support from individuals. Are you interested in sponsoring an episode? Contact Andrew Cherbas at Andrew.Cherbas@corvallisoregon.gov
